Police Recommend That Lane Garrison Be Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter

Police have recommended that Lane Garrison be charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and also contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Last month 26 year old Garrison, who plays “Tweener” on the hit show Prison Break, was driving his Land Rover with three teen-aged passengers when the car struck a tree and killed the 17 year old male passenger. Two 15 year old girls who were also in the car were both injured, one critically. Police have reported that Garrison had cocaine and more than twice the legal blood alcohol level in his system after the fatal car crash and charges should follow soon.
If Garrison is convicted of the manslaughter charge he faces up to ten years in prison. Art imitates life.

Tommy Lee classy as ever

I have my doubts about this one, but Page Six claims Tommy Lee had sex with a woman on a restaurant table Sunday night in a room full of people.

Lee's raunchy bar behavior grossed out a room full of revelers at Dune in the Hamptons on Sunday night when the Motley Crue drummer and a blond party girl "were flat-out [bleep]ing" on a banquette, according to multiple witnesses. One told us, "When Tommy walked in, he asked, 'Is it cool to have sex in here?' The hostess thought he was kidding, but . . . then he just went to town with this girl. We were trying not to pay attention because it was so disgusting."

Man, this story just exudes class. Tommy Lee asking the hostess if he can have sex in the restaurant, his date actually letting him. It's just all very classy. I'm actually kind of surprised the story wasn't about the Queen of England. NOTE: Enjoying that picture? Then why not take a trip down memory lane?

hey hey! i totally got trapped into watching all 2.5 hours of idol gives back - and once teri hatcher started to sing - i immediately donated to the worthy cause with the hope that she'd shut up and never sing in public again - but kudos to her for tossing herself out there this evening! i got way hopped up on fergie singing 'barracuda' along with heart - one of my top bands of all time...i fucking love those ladies! then when miley cyrus performed see you again - i was in complete pop heaven - that song is like the ultimate guilty pleasure of 2008 - i don't care who sings it - the track is an incredibly delicious pop single! another one of my favorites kelly clarkson is also getting in on the charity action - with these limited edition california stamps (pictured below) featuring ms. clarkson (it's like a trip down memory lane...since you've been mailed!) all the proceeds are going to help support the great causes at hand! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

(KP International) ? Apparently the Desperate Housewives from Wisteria Lane, feeling slighted by the Emmy nominating committee, have decided not to attend the awards ceremony on August 27.
Last year, the dark comedy received 15 nominations and won six of them. This year, the TV series only got a couple of nods: Shirley Knight for Outstanding...

UPDATE! i just got home - a little after 11pm - i had a total blast tonight! although ms. ross' vocals were a drop off - overall for a 64-year-old she did a superb job and ran through a bunch of her famous songs (while managing to pull off four costume changes) highlights included touch me in the morning and theme from mahogany (i heard this was the first time she's performed at the bowl since 1967!) the crowd was a bit on the mellow side which worked out great since i just wanted to have a chill evening watching ms. ross do her thing while taking us down memory lane - thankfully she performed endless love which she skipped last night for some reason! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo

hey kids! tonight i'm walking over to the hollywood bowl (with a little wine to help set the evening off) to finally see the legendary ms. diana ross in her 'lady supreme' show - i have early childhood memories of my dear mom playing the supremes - i've loved ms. ross practically all my life! below is a video of the divalicious diana with the supremes performing one of their classic tracks baby love back in 1964 (on the UK's top of the pops) it's hard to believe she's still doing her thing almost 45 years later! when i return home later i'll update this post with some thoughts on her show (plus i'll try to twitter) popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

Harry Connick, Jr. says he now understands how people get addicted to pain pills. Recovering from a recent surgery, the cutie crooner went on a pharmaceutical induced shopping spree that he has no memory of. He only realized he had been shopping when strange boxes started showing up at his house. What did he order, you ask? The list includes a box of 100 radio control cars, a ten dollar Chinese guitar and a large amount of jade jewelry. All of which he says was difficult to explain to his wife.

Harry explains, ?I had some surgery and I have to admit I understand how people become addicted to these pharmaceuticals that they prescribe after the surgery for killing pain. They?re absolutely amazing. I was in such a state while I was recovering from this surgery and the pain medication that I was on sort of took all the inhibitions out that I may have had.?

Smooth, sexy crooner ? underrated actor ? good father ? loyal husband ? home town re-builder. Add this funny story to the mix and color us crushing on Harry!
